Meet Mamta Shah, PhD
Mamta Shah, PhD, MS is a learning scientist at Elsevier, where she conducts research to support effective learning solutions and outcomes for nursing and health education. She is also an adjunct faculty member at 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ and University of Pennsylvania. Formerly, she was a postdoctoral scholar in the Games and Learning in Interactive Digital Environments (GLIDE) lab at 91ÖÆÆ¬³§. Dr. Shah was a founding member of the Drexel Postdoctoral Association and served as the chair of the resource development committee. For over a decade, she has researched the design and integration of interactive digital environments, such as games and virtual realities, to advance students’ knowledge and motivation. She has worked with PK-16 educators to incorporate the cognitive, pedagogical and experiential affordances of educational technologies in a variety of formal and informal settings.
Dr. Shah holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and Learning Technologies from 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ and a MS in Human Development from University of Mumbai.
