Dual Degree MD/MS Student Highlights & News

The Spirit of Inquiry: MD/MS Program Cultivates Future Clinician-Researchers
Bridging medicine and research, physician-scientists play a vital role in academic medicine and the private sector. Such contributions are more urgently needed than ever before, yet there is currently a shortage of qualified individuals to heed the call. Thankfully, medical education is responding: According to recent research, a greater number of medical students are being exposed to research opportunities today, with an increase of more than 20% between 2011 and 2020.
