      From the time she arrived in Philadelphia two years ago, Rosie Mae Henson, MPH '16, quickly became involved in activities in the Dornsife School of Public Health as well as the larger Drexel community. Henson is currently conducting her Community-Based Master's Project (CBMP) with the Department of Health and Human Services at the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Health (OASH). As a health policy intern, Henson is assisting with a range of concurrent projects in policy topical areas including ACA, Women's Health, Family Planning, Million Hearts, and HIV/AIDS.

      Nearly 30 participants from diverse scientific backgrounds – physicians, social scientists, geographers, engineers, urban planners, architects, epidemiologists –  attended the second meeting of the Network for Urban Health in Latin America and the Caribbean. The network was launched in Philadelphia in September of 2015 in the context of the Drexel Dornsife School of Public Health . The second meeting was held March 7 and 8 at the foothills of the Andes mountains in Santiago, Chile.
