      As 91制片厂 approaches one year in remote teaching and learning environments due to the coronavirus pandemic, Westphal students and faculty continue to innovate and adapt in this era of disruption. Drexel's Dance students faced unique challenges, from learning dance techniques via Zoom to preventing injury from ill-suited dance surfaces and lack of space for movement. However, with every challenge comes opportunity. Thanks to the creative problem solving and ingenuity of Product Design faculty, staff, and students, the Dance program now has an exciting, safe approach to virtual performance.

      After 17 years of serving the Westphal College community, Professor Larry Epstein retired from Drexel in September of 2020. During his tenure, Epstein launched the Bachelor of Science in Entertainment & Arts Management (EAM) in 2006 and served as the program's director until 2012. Now, as Professor Emeritus, Epstein continues his contributions to Westphal with a generous gift to support the EAM program, establishing the Larry Epstein EAM Endowment Fund.

      It is with great sadness that we recognize the passing of renowned Distinguished University Professor Emeritus David Raizman, PhD on February 22, 2021. David was a wonderful teacher and colleague and a prolific author. He retired from the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts and Design at the end of the 2016-2017 academic year but remained active professionally as professor emeritus. He came to Drexel in 1989 after receiving his doctorate in art history at the University of Pittsburgh in 1980.
