Religious Observances and Co-op Cycles
Because the co-op program is designed to prepare you for life after graduation, we expect you to work directly with your co-op employer to adjust your work schedule for religious observances. However, please note that individual employer policies supersede 91ÖÆƬ³§ policies, and some employers may not be able to accommodate these requests.
If you have not yet started your co-op job search and believe it will be impossible to reach a positive arrangement with an employer, you may request a co-op cycle change as a religious accommodation. Please keep in mind that not all academic programs offer both co-op cycles.
To request a change, you must submit a written appeal to your Co-op Advisor outlining why the cycle change is necessary. Your request will be reviewed by the Co-op Leadership team and the Executive Director of Student Success. All decisions are final.
