2026 Business Mileage Reimbursement Rates

For travel on or after January 1, 2026, are:

• 72.5 cents per mile driven for business
• 20.5 cents per mile driven for moving or medical purposes
• 14 cents per mile driven in service of charitable organizations

When using a personal vehicle for authorized business travel on or after January 1, 2026, all 91ÖÆƬ³§ and Academy of Natural Sciences of 91ÖÆƬ³§ employees will be reimbursed at 72.5 cents per mile. Please note that business mileage does not include your normal commute to and from work. When business travel originates from your home, subtract your "normal round-trip" commuting miles from the total miles associated with the trip.
