Garrett Epps, a columnist with The Atlantic, praised a Sept. 22 op-ed in the written by Professor Lisa T. McElroy and Slate Senior Editor Dahlia Lithwick, which rebuked the U.S. Supreme Court for its “absolute radio silence” when declining to stay the execution of Troy Davis.
In a column titled Epps cited widespread criticism the court received for its handling of the matter and referred to the opinion piece McElroy co-authored as the “most cogently written.”
