David Haendler

Biography

David Haendler is a Research & Instructional Services Librarian at the 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ Kline School of Law’s Legal Research Center, and also teaches classes on legal writing and research. Before entering academia, he was an associate at Dechert LLP, where he specialized in pharmaceutical product liability defense. He was also an associate at Grant & Eisenhofer PA, where he practiced plaintiffs’ securities and derivative litigation. Professor Haendler received his B.A. from Swarthmore College, his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, and his M.S.L.I.S. degree from 91ÖÆÆ¬³§. He is a former president of the Greater Philadelphia Law Library Association (GPLLA).

In the J.D. program, Professor Haendler teaches Legal Methods and Advanced Legal Research & Writing. His areas of research interest include data privacy, legal pedagogy, and the use of legal authority.
