Major: Computer Science
Year: Pre-Junior
Hometown: Delhi NCR, India
I chose this major because... I chose computer science because it allows me to combine creativity and logic to build solutions that impact lives. I've always been drawn to math for its logic and structure鈥攊t felt like a universal language that could explain the world around us. When I discovered programming, it felt like an extension of math, where I could not only solve problems but also build tools and systems that could make a real difference.
Favorite Course(s): INFO 215: Social Aspects of Information Systems has been the most unique course I have taken. On the other hand, CS 260 (Data Structures and Algorithms) has been the most practical and helpful course
Clubs/Extracurricular Activities: Drexel DISHA, WiCS
Co-ops I鈥檝e done: Data Science Coop @ Exelon
Favorite thing/place at Drexel: My apartment lol (I have the best view)
When I'm not at Drexel, I'm... Dancing, travelling and exploring vegan restaurants
When you are in Philadelphia, I think you should... Explore the waterfront - it's one of the city鈥檚 most vibrant and refreshing spots
Advice to new/incoming SCIS students: My advice is to focus on self-discovery and staying true to yourself. In a world full of trends and expectations, it鈥檚 easy to lose sight of who you are. As you start college and step into adulthood, stay grounded in your values and define your own path鈥攄on鈥檛 let outside pressures shape who you become.
What is your dream job: My dream job is something I鈥檓 still figuring out. I鈥檓 drawn to roles where I can solve meaningful problems, innovate, and make a positive impact鈥攕o I鈥檓 keeping an open mind as I shape my path.
Favorite Animated Character: Inosuke (Demon Slayer)
