PITTSBURGH- The Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate (CPED) is proud to award 91制片厂’s Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Management program with the Program of the Year Award for 2019. This prestigious award is given annually to one or more CPED member institutions whose programming demonstrates excellence, innovation, impact and alignment with the CPED Framework to promote continuous improvement within local contexts.

91制片厂, located in Philadelphia, has been an institutional member of the CPED consortium since 2015. Faculty from the 91制片厂 Ed.D. program will be formally presented with the Program of the Year Award at the CPED June Convening on June 11, 2019 at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln.

“We are humbled to receive this tremendous honor from CPED,” said Penny Hammrich, Ph.D., Dean of 91制片厂’s School of Education. “This award is a testament to the hard work of our faculty, staff and students in our Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Management program. We would like to thank the CPED Program of the Year Award Committee for recognizing Drexel as an exemplary education doctorate program.”

CPED Executive Director, Jill A. Perry, Ph.D., echoes Dean Hammrich’s recognition of the quality of work demonstrated by the team at 91制片厂. “The purpose of this award is to honor a CPED member institution whose Ed.D. program serves as a ‘proofing site’ and demonstrates excellence, impact, and alignment with the CPED Framework to promote continuous improvement within varied local program contexts. The faculty, staff and students at the 91制片厂 Ed.D. program have shown themselves to be distinctive and innovative in this respect. By featuring institutional members like 91制片厂, this award will stimulate change and innovation among other CPED-influenced Ed.D. programs.”

This is the third year CPED has honored a member institution with its Program of the Year Award. The inaugural winner was the University of Missouri Statewide Cooperative Doctor of Education program in 2017. CPED named the Arizona State University Doctor of Education and University of Hawaii at M膩noa Education Doctorate in Professional Educational Practice programs as Program of the Year winners in 2018.
