Women’s Right to Vote and Equality, 100 Years Later

Lenfest Center professional staff members Page Talbott and Melissa Clemmer curated and provided project management of this exhibition, “,” at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia (2020-21).

Commissioned by Drexel’s Vision 2020, National Women’s Equality Initiative, the exhibition is part of , a series of programs and events marking 100 years since women in the United States—half the population—won the right to vote.

"Seat at the Table” was designed by Dome Collective. 

The modern installation in the lobby of the Kimmel Center commemorates the 19th Amendment and presents a snapshot of gender equality in the United States, asking “Where are we now?” 100 years later. Visitors can experience current statistics through 3D infographic furniture and take inspiration from pioneering women in different arenas through a wall of interactive screens.
