Libraries, Collections & Archives

In addition to its , Drexel is the steward of multiple collections, including the: Founding Collection, Legacy Center Archives & Special Collections, Robert and Penny Fox Historic Costume Collection, Polish Poster Collections, and -- most recently -- (former Philadelphia History Museum).

Lenfest Center for Cultural Partnerships

The Lenfest Center, launched in 2015, advances Drexel鈥檚 academic mission and civic engagement commitment while contributing to the success of cultural nonprofit partners. 

Biography

Dr. Remer was an associate professor of history at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where she taught early American history for 14 years. She was drawn to public history, museum planning, and administration while on leave to direct the planning efforts for the National Constitution Center. She went on to serve as executive director of the Benjamin Franklin Tercentenary and then cofound Remer & Talbott, a consulting firm serving museums, libraries, universities, historic sites, and other nonprofits. She joined 91制片厂 in 2013, where she served for two years as a senior advisor to the president and facilitator of Drexel鈥檚 key presidential initiatives.

Remer is Chair of the Board of Managers of the , the nonprofit owner of The Philadelphia Inquirer, and serves as a member of the Board of Advisors for the UCLA Luskin Center for History and Policy, vice chair of the American Antiquarian Society's Council, and a member of the Independence Historical Trust board of directors. She also serves as senior advisor to the A-Mark Foundation in Los Angeles.
