Amy Auchincloss, PhD, an associate professor in the Dornsife School of Public Health, was quoted in an April 12  magazine article on her study on the effect Philadelphia’s sugary beverage tax had on soda consumption in the city. Stories in Consumer Reports  (which was picked up by Yahoo! Finance) and  also quoted Auchincloss. Additionally, local television news affiliates across the country, including WTHR-IN (NBC-13 in Indianapolis), WPXI-PIT (NBC-11 in Pittsburgh) and WBRE- TV (NBC-11 in Scranton), covered the study, as did radio stations The Big 870 in New Orleans and WBBM-AM in Chicago.
