      Drexel International Health, Safety and Security is closely tracking the path of Typhoon Hagibis which is expected to make landfall over the weekend in the Tokyo area. Known Drexel travelers in the region are significantly north of the expected landfall, but have been advised of the storm which is expected to result in air and rail cancellations.

      Drexel International Health, Safety and Security is tracking Typhoon Faxai which is expected to impact the Tokyo area. Known travelers in the region have been alerted to the storm which will likely have minimal impact on program activities.

      Drexel International Health, Safety and Security is tracking the path of Typhoon Lingling which is forecast to make landfall in Jeju Island over the weekend. Minor disruptions are expected in Seoul as the storm passes through the region. Known travelers in the region have been advised to monitor the storm and adjust travel plans accordingly.

      Drexel International Health, Safety and Security has been closely monitoring the protest events taking place in Hong Kong and has been in contact with exchange partner universities in the city where Drexel students participate in education abroad. The current is at level 2 (of four): Exercise Increased Caution. IHSS and the Hong Kong universities have provided guidance to current travelers and those travelling to Hong Kong in the coming weeks.
