Drexel’s research-rich summer institutes offer dynamic learning experiences that help high school students develop real-world skills. This year, the College of Arts and Sciences presents five programs that introduce students to various topics in the humanities, social sciences and STEM fields. 

26 Omani students are spending the 2023–24 academic year at Drexel to improve their English and receive support as they apply for admission to selective colleges and universities in the U.S.

Associate Teaching Professor of Spanish and Associate Dean of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Steve Vásquez Dolph, PhD, recently sat down with Dean David Brown, PhD to discuss the importance of community-based learning, language education, diversity in higher education and more. 

Matt Cowan, a PhD student in the biology department, was part of the team that won first place in the National Science Policy Network's 2023 Science Policy Writing Competition. Their winning policy brief was published in Forefront, publication for the science and technology policy community.
