Bio:
Dr. Gary specializes in feminist philosophy and bioethics, with a focus on care work and technology. Before coming to Drexel, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Hastings Center, where she is now a Presidential Fellow and continues to collaborate on projects at the intersection of care ethics and emerging technologies. Her research has appeared in Philosophy Compass, Bioethics, The Hastings Center Report, and IJFAB: International Journal of Feminist Approaches to Bioethics. Her first book, The Limits of Care: Making Feminist Sense of Technology Relations, is under contract with Oxford University Press. Alongside Joel Michael Reynolds, she co-edited the scholarly volume Disability Justice in Public Health Emergencies (Routledge 2024). She is also co-editor of the scholarly blog of IJFAB: International Journal of Feminist Approaches to Bioethics.
