Research from 91��Ƭ��’s School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems recently demonstrated that OpenAI’s GPT-3 program can identify clues from spontaneous speech that are 80% accurate in predicting the early stages of dementia.

Lewin (Career) and Han (Mid-career) each received the Provost Award for Outstanding Scholarly Productivity, and Dr. Zhong received the Scholarly Materials and Research Equipment Award for Tenure/Tenure Track Faculty.

  Drexel Magazine‘s 40 Under 40 showcased the remarkable achievements of hundreds of ambitious Dragons and featured School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems ('BIOMED') alumni Jaydev Kardam Dave, PhD. Dr. Dave graduated from Drexel in 2008 with an MS in Biomedical Engineering, and again in 2012 with a PhD in Biomedical Engineering. He is currently an associate professor in the Department of Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University.

Hrabowski, III, president of the University of Maryland Baltimore County, will address the class of 2022 at Drexel’s university-wide commencement ceremony on June 9. In what has become a tradition, 91��Ƭ�� will return to Citizens Bank Park to celebrate the graduating class in-person. The ceremony will also be live-streamed.
