  Olivia Ngo, PhD Candidate in the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems and NIH NRSA Fellow, NSF IIE-GIRE Fellow, and GAANN Fellow (Advisors: P. Lewin and K. Spiller), received a $500 Global Engagement Funding Travel Award to attend the British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS) Conference in Harrogate, United Kingdom, December 10-12, 2019.

Beard Distinguished University Professor and Director, Biomedical Ultrasound Research and Education Center in the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems, was inducted as a Fellow into The College of Physicians of Philadelphia at the college’s fall College Night on November 15, 2019.
